Many municipalities have programs where you sign up and get the bins for free and all you have to do, they may be placed at the curb on certain days. Some of you need to get the information by category, such as sorting, paper, glass, plastic, etc., and others do not.
Some cities have schools that have containers to collect recyclables on campus to drop you off course. Just make sure to accept.
Some stores such as Staples, will bring items like old computers, ink cartridges, batteries, old cell phones. Moreover, it is only necessary to ensure that objects are allowed.
If your community does not start a recycling program, for one. Write your local politician asking why. Letters to the Editor in local newspapers are also an effective way to address this problem and to draw attention to your condition.
